
General terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between Corklands (a registered trademark of Lat & Long - Turismo e Serviços, Lda.), hereinafter referred to as Corklands, and the client. Purchasing any service implies knowledge and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. Company Identification
Lat & Long - Turismo e Serviços, Lda. (NIPC 516798359), owner of Corklands, is an SME certified by IAPMEI (Portuguese Institute of Economic and Social Development) and registered with Turismo de Portugal under Tourist Entertainment License RNAAT 153/2022 (National Registry of Tourist Entertainment Agencies).
Some of its activities are classified as Nature Tourism when they occur in protected areas.
2. Insurance
The activities organized by Corklands comply with the current legal framework and have the following coverage:
Allianz Personal Accident Insurance, policy no. 206455305
Death/Permanent Disability: 22,710.22€
Treatment Expenses: 3,975.34€
Allianz Civil Liability Insurance, policy no. 206455684
Capital per claim: 50,000.00€
The insurance is not activated if participants are intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics, other drugs, or toxic substances not prescribed by a doctor.
Corklands is not responsible for any damage or accident resulting from the recklessness of participants or their failure to follow the organizers' instructions, occurring during their activities or not covered by their Civil Liability and Personal Accident insurance.
3. Reservations and Payments
Prices shown include VAT at the current legal rate.
Registrations or reservations must be made up to 10 days in advance by completing the appropriate forms or by email to info@latitude-longitude.pt.
Registrations or reservations are valid upon full payment of the registration or reservation fee.

4. Cancellation and Refunds
At Corklands' initiative:
Corklands reserves the right to cancel the activity under the following circumstances:
Force majeure: war or imminent war, terrorism, strikes, fire, natural disasters, and other similar situations not attributable to Corklands. In these situations, there is no right to a refund of payments already made. If circumstances permit, Corklands will propose an alternative program to the customer, as similar as possible to the one canceled.
Extreme weather conditions that compromise the safe conduct of the activity. In this case, there is no right to a refund, and Corklands undertakes to offer a program as equivalent as possible to the one canceled.
At the client's initiative:
In case of cancellation, the reservation amount will be refunded if this is communicated by email 120 hours before the activity. Otherwise, the cancellation will result in a 50% refund. Cancellations made 48 hours before the activity will not be refunded.
5 - Photographs
The client grants Corklands all rights to the audiovisual material collected during the activities and authorizes its use by Corklands for promotional purposes, unless expressly indicated otherwise prior to the activity.
6 – Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the customer may resort to the following alternative consumer dispute resolution (RAL) entity, which can provide legal information and resolve a dispute arising from the services provided by Corklands:
