The GRAVEL MEETING® is a meeting between cyclists and the land, between body and soul, between challenge and freedom. It's feeling the wind on your face, hearing the sound of wheels on the dirt, breathing the pure air of Ribatejo and Alentejo—lands where time passes slowly and authenticity remains intact. Here, gravel reveals its true nature: dirt paths that wind through cork oak forests, constantly rising and falling. At the GRAVEL MEETING®, it's about feeling every kilometer, creating unique memories, and achieving. It's an invitation to explore without limits, to challenge yourself, and, above all, to live. Because in this territory, gravel finds its essence.
The GRAVEL MEETING® is a semi-autonomous gravel challenge: Choose between two different distances!
One detail that makes all the difference:
We know that carrying what you need during a gravel ride can be stressful, so our semi-autonomous concept offers the necessary logistical support so you can register with peace of mind.

A gravel cycling experience that combines sport, leisure, nature, and adventure in one of the best areas in the Iberian Peninsula for this sport.
GRAVEL MEETING® takes place in the Ribatejo and Alentejo regions of central Portugal, just a few hours from the largest urban centers of the Iberian Peninsula, along routes through several municipalities in the region.

Altimetry
The GRAVEL MEETING® routes feature balanced average elevation, with moderate climbs and flowing descents, combining dirt roads, trails, and rural paths (dirt or asphalt). The varying elevation ensures just the right amount of challenge and adventure, while the natural beauty of Ribatejo and Alentejo makes every kilometer a memorable experience.

The Gravel Meeting territory
In the heart of the "charneca" (heathland), amidst cork oak forests and dirt tracks that wind through incredible landscapes, the GRAVEL MEETING® crosses several municipalities in the Ribatejo and North/Central Alentejo regions. These territories stretch across the "Montado" of cork oaks, one of the 36 most valuable ecosystems on the planet, essential for biodiversity conservation and comparable to natural treasures like the Amazon or the African savanna. More than just a landscape, this territory is a living heritage that connects cyclists to the nature, culture, and soul of one of the world's most unique environments.

At GRAVEL MEETING®, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) guide every decision and every pedal stroke. As organizers, we are committed to promoting health and well-being, boosting the local economy, valuing the community, and protecting nature. With responsible consumption practices and climate action, the event unites sport, territory, and sustainability, creating a positive impact that extends beyond the finish line!
